Gratitude

We are often so busy looking for new things and experiences that we forget about everything that we already have.

But perhaps the key to a happy life is not in having more but in appreciating things more.

When we bring more gratitude into our lives, we start feeling rich and fortunate, and the feeling of lack starts to diminish.

Plus, other people are actually more inclined to give to someone who is grateful. It truly works like magic....

Here's my reflection on this topic:



But gratitude doesn't always come naturally. We are programmed by our society to focus on what we don't have, or on everything that's "wrong" with our lives.

It's easy to get lost in this game of endless acquiring... New things, new people, new experiences... Never quite happy or satisfied...

Gratitude is the antidote for all that. Here's a short meditation that can help us cultivate the feeling of gratitude in our everyday life:
